Thanks very much / diolch yn fawr for visiting.
Cae'r Bryniau is a wonderful Welsh farm cottage, probably dating to the early 1800s, set in five acres near the north-west coast of Anglesey, North Wales, some 20 minutes north of Holyhead.
We have two fully en-suite Shepherds Huts with great views over the neighbouring farmland and across the island towards Snowdonia, perfect for a self-catering holiday on Anglesey.
Cae'r Bryniau is a working smallholding that has been used as a small farm (tyddyn in Welsh) for many years. It now comprises just over five acres and is surrounded by farmed land, often occupied by sheep and dairy cows. We keep Soay sheep and sometimes have Oxford Sandy and Black pigs, as well as hens.

There are also resident farm cats as well as our two Labradors, Tom and Barbara. Yes, they were named after the TV series characters as we got such a ribbing about living the 'Good Life' when we moved here! As we do run a working smallholding there may well be wheelbarrows, watering cans and all sorts about the place – we try to be as tidy as possible but this is real life!
We have a “green as possible” ethic. We farm organically, make our own compost, reuse and recycle whatever we can, have specific areas devoted to wildlife and are purposefully not zealous weeders - nettles and dandelions are thrive here.
Both of us love cooking and enjoy turning our seasonal harvests into scrummy things to eat now or store away. Nick enjoys baking and uses organic flour to produce bread, cakes, croissants and pastries. Nick sometimes swaps his chef’s whites for a suit and ventures back into the real world as an educational consultant.
